Leon Kemp opened the first location of Northwest Supply Company in 1982, in Northport, Alabama. Mr. Leon, as he was affectionately known, knew that every successful business was built on a simple idea: serve your customers in everything you do.
Luckily, Mr. Leon didn’t have to build Northwest Supply all by himself. His wife and partner, Ms. Jeri Kemp, was right there by his side. Together, they grew Northwest Supply Company for over 40 years, eventually adding a Prattville location in 1999 to better serve customers in Central Alabama.
As active members of First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Mr. Leon and Ms. Jeri proudly supported a wide variety of civic, professional, and sports organizations, happily giving back to their community.
Mr. Leon went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2023.
Though we miss him dearly, Ms. Jeri and the employees of Northwest Supply Company are proud to carry on Mr. Leon’s legacy, offering our expertise and service to help the good people of West and Central Alabama with their plumbing needs.
